Earlier this year, Google began showing off a new Gmail design that would change the look of the web client and add a host of new features to the service.
After that last four-week stretch, users will be pushed to the new Gmail permanently with no option to opt-out.
Beginning in July, chairmen will be required to enable individuals to pick in to the new Gmail design; at the most recent, the alternative will be enabled in August.
Injury wrecks Williams' audacious French title bid
Monday's bombshell announcement was the first time in her 20-year career that Williams had pulled out during a Grand Slam event. Wimbledon champion Garbine Muguruza is now many pundits' favourites for the title after dismantling Sam Stosur.
Google said it has redesigned its security warnings in Gmail, too, so information is easier to see and understand. Those users who have a paid account from their company and organization will soon be shifted over to the new Gmail design. During this four-week period, users will not have the option to opt in to the new Gmail. While the company made no mention of a schedule for "regular" Gmail users, its likely both demographics will follow a similar timeline. "Approximately eight weeks after the GA announcement in July, any users who haven't yet been transitioned to the new Gmail will be automatically migrated to the new experience".
Though some Gmail users have criticized the design, most reviews online appear to be neutral or positive. They can wait four weeks to opt in, and have a little more time than that to opt out.
Also, It's now the only version of Gmail that supports a feature called Smart Compose, which finishes sentences with the aid of machine learning and artificial intelligence. This will open the Google Admin console.
