National Football League 2018 schedule: Super Bowl winners Philadelphia to face Jaguars at Wembley

The Eagles will host the Falcons for their season opener on September 6, Philly.com reported, citing an unidentified source. That's likely a good sign that the Jags and Eagles game is being viewed as a marquee matchup as fans will definitely want to see two of the league's top-5 teams duke it out. For everyone back in Philly, the game will begin at 9:30 a.m. ET.

Philly will hang its Super Bowl XLII championship banner and kick off its 2018 season with a Thursday Night Football game against the Atlanta Falcons on September 6, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The NFL will announce its 2018 schedule Thursday night at 8 p.m. They will play at defending AFC champion New England and on the road against the Los Angeles Rams, an NFC heavyweight.
