The danger for Chelsea is that if they do miss out on Champions League football, some of their top players, like Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois, Willian and Alvaro Morata, will be tempted away by big clubs who can offer exactly that.
The reigning champions have endured a poor 2018, winning just three of their last 11 matches in the topflight.
'I think we must be frustrated. I didn't see many players leaving then.
