Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan Has Been Granted BAIL By The Jodhpur Court

Salman has had frequent visits from his family and security guards and according to India Today, he was accompanied by top jail officials during one of his night stays inside the Jodhpur Central Jail.
The sureties have already been filed and Salman's lawyers, as of last updating this report, were rushing to the Jodhpur Central Jail, where the actor is lodged, with the required paperwork and documents. But Justice Joshi did not recuse himself will be hearing the plea today. Earlier around noon, the court had said it would pronounce the order after lunch.
The superstar was handed a five-year jail term on Thursday for a 1998 case of blackbuck poaching.
He has now spent two nights in jail in a small but secure cell which has four blankets, a wooden bed and a cooler.
Salman met his lawyers and bodyguard Shera before the bail hearing in the district and sessions court. Later the same night, he was among the 87 judicial officers who were transferred in what was described as a routine administrative measure.

In a late night development, Joshi was transferred to Sirohi as part of a reshuffle. He has been transferred from Jodhpur to Siroh. If the upper court rejects the appeal for suspension of sentence, Salman will have to approach the high court for bail on Monday.

Just before the hearing, Salman's counsel claimed that he received threatening messages. He argued that no investigation in any of the cases of poaching proved that Salman used firearms. "We told the court that the eyewitness in the case is not reliable". He was taken to the jail on April 5 and since then; there is a tension among his fans and his co-stars.
