Young Children Believed to Be in Danger After Being Taken by Father

MARKHAM, Ill. (WIFR) - Police continue to look for two young south suburban girls and their father after issuing an AMBER alert late Wednesday night. Police said the children were with Washington when they disappeared and they were dropped off at their grandmother's home in Harvey at approximately 3:45 p.m. Thursday. Police Chief Mack Sanders says she had been seen arguing with Lynn Washington, the children's father, while returning from a club with another man.

According to Illinois State Police, Lynn Roby, 3, and Jordyn Washington, 2, have been missing since 2 p.m. Wednesday. He was prohibited from having contact with the girls due to an order of protection issued November 30.

They were last seen in a 2004 or 2005 Malibu Impala, state police said. Both children are black with brown hair.

Sanders also said that Washington "is considered armed and unsafe, based on his criminal history and our investigation".

Neighbour Patricia Egan said Mr Glushkov had lived there for several years, describing him as well educated and "a lovely fellow". Berezovsky was found hanged at his home and an inquest failed to determine whether he had killed himself or died from foul play.

"She was in the vehicle and it was a domestic incident involving him and her, and she wound up getting shot", Sanders told the newspaper.

Wednesday afternoon, Washington then picked up the kids, who were staying with a family friend.

Anyone with any information on their location should call San Antonio police at 210-207-7660.
