Dolphins to cut DT Suh, LB Timmons

Veteran defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh's time with the Miami Dolphins looks as though it's up after ESPN's Jeff Darlington reported that the 31-year-old could be cut as early as Monday.

Meanwhile, the team is shopping starting right tackle Ja'Wuan James in trade discussions, with the possibility he could be released if no deal is found, according to multiple reports. Suh carried a $26.1 million cap hit in 2018.

Suh's career with Miami was a mixed bag after signing a monster six-year, $114 million contract with the team in 2015.

"Stay tuned", Suh said in a video posted on Twitter. He will be 31 years old for the 2018 National Football League season. "There will be some exciting things going on".

They traded running back Jay Ajayi to the Philadelphia Eagles mid-season past year.

The functionality will provide an easier way for patients without access to transportation to make it to doctors' appointments. If they say yes, Allscripts' system will communicate with Lyft's to identify the date and time then book the ride.

The Falcons would have interest in Suh because they sorely need a defensive tackle capable of applying pressure from the interior next to nose tackle Grady Jarrett, with Vic Beasley and Takk McKinley rushing off the edges. But the Falcons don't have a ton of cap space and likely won't get into a bidding war for Suh, no matter how tempting it might sound. Darlington noted the Dolphins are striving for a "culture change", and Suh's release would be part of that shift heading into the 2018 campaign.

If this happens and it now appears to be more of when and how rather than if, it will be a huge sign that the Dolphins are reshaping their team and if that is the case, it might be better to blow it up and start over. The Dolphins made the playoffs as a wild-card team in 2016, but are coming off a disappointing 6-10 season.

Suh was the No. 2 overall draft pick in 2010 by the Detroit Lions.

As dominant as Suh has been at times bulldozing his way through offensive lines to apply constant pressure to opposing quarterbacks, everybody knows how much of a headache he can be as well, whether it's from his attitude or "dirty" playing at times on the field.
