Set in the Worgen-cursed city of Gilneas, the Witchwood expansion will feature 135 new cards, a few of them found conveniently hanging in a tree by Hearthstone head guy Ben Brode. In their example, the Hearthstone team presented a 3-mana minion with the ability, which would make it useful later in the game, allowing you to drop an extra one on turn six or two on turn nine.
Players can draw on an arsenal of new tricks, including the eerie new Echo keyword. And for a different type of challenge, players can enter "The Forge", where they start each match by building a deck from a new set of cards, and then use that deck to duel other Forge participants.
Today, Blizzard announced the newest expansion for Hearthstone: The Witchwood.
A new Hagatha card, which Blizzard chose to leave as a mystery for the time!
The Witchwood will be released sometime in April. "Similar to the Dungeon Run mode from Kobolds & Catacombs, players will defeat bosses and collect their bounties to build a deck that will keep them alive as they venture deeper and deeper into The Witchwood", says Blizzard.

Veteran Davin House, who came back to Green Bay on a one-year deal last season, is a free agent. Not only was accuracy an issue, but turnovers also added to the Browns' problems.
Second, the devs reveal neutral Legendary minion, Genn Greymane, whose Battlecry reduces the cost of the player's Hero Power to one mana, provided all the cards in their deck and hand are even-numbered-cost cards.
The Echo keyword, when shown in a card allows you to add a spectral copy of this card to your hand until the end of your turn, which can be played any number of times if you have the mana for it. Rush, much like Charge, lets a minion attack immediately, but only against other minions.
A trio of Hearthstone developers went into the forest to discover the secrets of The Witchwood, the new expansion for Hearthstone.
In The Witchwood's exhilarating single-player mode, Monster Hunt, Gilneas' greatest heroes are called to cleanse the forest of this darkness. Once again, it'll include cards unique to this mode, but it also brings with it for new Heroes with their own Hero Powers. Also as usual, logging in near launch will get you some freebies: three packs plus one random Class Legendary.
