Neymar Ruled out of Real Madrid Clash with Injury

Neymar is doubtful for Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League game against Real Madrid next week after tests showed he has a cracked fifth metatarsal in his right foot along with a sprained ankle.

Neymar suffered a crack in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot and also sprained his ankle during Sunday's 3-0 win over Marseille.

"It is no joy at all, I do not like when players get injured and I am not happy with Neymar's injury".

"I do not think it influences next week's game".

In addition to Neymar's injury, PSG confirmed centre-back Marquinhos suffered a thigh injury against Marseille.

Neymar will certainly miss the second leg of their clash with Real Madrid in which they need to recover a 3-1 deficit.

"Neymar is the first to want to play every match, he's very focussed on Real".

Bollywood veteran Sridevi passes away in Dubai
She first made an appearance in Bollywood in 1975 in the film Julie , in which she played the lead actor Lakshmi's little sister. Well-wishers are rushing to Sridevi's house in Mumbai to be by her elder daughter Janhvi's side at this devastating time.

But Emery has provided a welcome injury boost for the French giants, claiming Neymar could yet be fit to face Los Blancos.

Emery said in the press conference ahead of Wednesday's French Cup game against Marseille: "It's false that Neymar is going to have an operation".

"We'll see how things evolve in the coming days before making a decision with him", he said.

PSG has advanced to the knockout stage of the Champions League in each of the last six seasons but never made it past of the quarterfinals.

The Parisians were hoping to make the most of their home field advantage, and on Neymar, who has scored 28 goals in all competitions all season.

'The first exams reveal a twist, ' Emery said. "Until Paris Saint-Germain decides on his future in terms of training or so on we will continue to wait".

Brazilian football fans will also be anxious to learn the extent of Neymar's injury with the World Cup just over three months away. The proof is that here today we talked more about Ligue 1 than about other leagues.
