Iran: US, US Covering up War Crimes Committed by Saudi in Yemen

Over the last two days, 120 members of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia have been killed in the Red Sea coastal area of Yemen as a result of artillery and air strikes carried out by Arab Coalition forces, led by Saudi Arabia and supported by the UAE Armed Forces, and of clashes with the Yemeni National Resistance and UAE forces. "That just validated a lot of what we already thought which is Iran gets a pass for its risky and illegal behavior".

Haley held the Security Council accountable for the defeat, "The Security Council failed to adopt a resolution that would have called out Iran for its actions".

The UK drafted the resolution in consultation with the United States and France and it was attached to a vote for the renewal of UN sanctions in Yemen. It's unsurprising that Russian Federation would provide cover to Iran given the two countries have been allies for years due to their shared hatred toward the West.

Amir-Abdollahian stressed that Iran supports Yemen's unity and territorial integrity, and that political resolution involving all tribes and parties is the only way to get out of this crisis.

In a bid to win Moscow's support, the draft that was vetoed had been weakened to simply "note with particular concern" the violation, which was reported to the council by United Nations experts monitoring sanctions.

The Gunners came in into the last-32 second-leg clash 3-0 up with many expecting this game to be a mere formality. He has played predominantly as a left wing-back, but his favoured position is in central midfield.

Russian Federation has questioned the findings of the United Nations experts report, which was submitted to the council in January. A second permanent member of the council, China abstained from the vote.

A proxy war is playing out in Yemen between Iran and US ally Saudi Arabia.

A Saudi-led military coalition allied with Yemen's government is the only party known to conduct air raids over areas controlled by Yemen's Houthi rebels.

The Western powers said that the move by the Huthis to fire missiles into Saudi Arabia "has the potential to turn a local conflict into a broader regional one". According to the resolution, Iran is also specifically prohibited from the sale or transfer of ballistic missiles until 2023.

Security Council resolution condemned Iran for violating Yemen arms embargo by sending weapons to Houthi rebels.
