Winter Weather Advisory issued until 1 pm Saturday

A winter storm warning is in effect from 5 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday for northern portions of the Island; other areas will be under a winter storm watch.
The snowfall amounts for Saturday night, in Billings, are expected to be lower than previously thought, only about an inch or so.
Southern Ocean County, parkway west to a line from Egg Harbor City to Maurice River to Downe Township: Rain/snow or snow will go to all rain by midnight. Snow-covered roads could result in some slippery conditions and hazardous travel. Snow will taper off from west to east early Sunday morning between 5am and 7am.
The forecast calls for snow accumulations of four to seven inches. Fog can freeze on contact tonight and into early Saturday morning.
A stronger system arrives Saturday with more rain and mountain snow.
