Nation observes Kashmir Solidarity Day

Political and religious groups across Pakistan marked the annual Kashmir Solidarity Day. "We welcome the global monitoring teams to our centres".

Like all other parts of the country, Kashmir Solidarity Day Monday was observed in Balochistan to express solidarity and whole-hearted support to the just struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right of self-determination. Saeed said he would dedicate 2018 to "Kashmiris who are struggling for freedom".

Pakistan astute diplomat and former permanent representative for the United Nation's Geneva headquarters Zamir Akram has maintained that Pakistan-India friendship is not possible as long Kashmir dispute isn't resolved fairly since India is not even ready so far to accept the existence of Pakistan.

He said the dream of peace and prosperity in the region will remain elusive without resolving the Kashmir dispute.

The embassy of Pakistan in Tehran observed Kashmir Solidarity Day on Monday to express unity with the Kashmiri people who have always been struggling for self-determination in northern India.

Kashmiris considered themselves Pakistani and wanted to live under the Pakistani flag, he added.

The CM assured the Kashmiri people that the people of Pakistan will never abandon their unflinching support for them.
