Emma Ann Miller confronts Larry Nassar in court

Three members of USA Gymnastics' board of directors resigned Monday amid one of the largest sexual abuse scandals in US sports history involving disgraced doctor Larry Nassar.
For the fifth consecutive day of Larry Nassar's sentence hearing, the number of women and girls expected to give impact statements has grown.
USA Gymnastics president and CEO Kerry Perry said: "USA Gymnastics thanks Paul Parilla, Jay Binder and Bitsy Kelley for their many years of service to this organisation".
"We believe this step will allow us to more effectively move forward in implementing change within our organisation", the body said.
Michigan State fired Nassar a few weeks after Miller's appointment as new allegations about his abuse began to spread.
"I, like all those that have spoken, didn't choose this circumstance to have the right to be standing in front of this podium today", she said.
"I am possibly the last child he will ever assault", the 15-year-old girl said.
"There has never been a time in my life when I did not know Larry Nassar", Miller said.

"Larry, you do realize now that we, this group of women you so heartlessly abused over such a long period of time, are now a force, and you are nothing", she said, looking directly at him during a hearing on Friday. More than 130 women have filed civil lawsuits against him alleging abuse.
More young women and girls who say they were assaulted by a MI sports doctor are due in court for a fifth day to make victim statements before he is sentenced.
Raisman also called out US gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic Committee for turning a blind eye to the many allegations of abuse over the years.
In announcing the resignation of the three directors, USA Gymnastics restated its commitment to athlete safety, and outlining the steps taken to "promote athlete safety, health and well-being and prevent future abuse by adopting and vigorously enforcing the USA Gymnastics safe sport policy".
Monday's first speaker, Bailey Lorencen, focused her ire on John Geddert, the head coach of 2012 gold-medal Olympic team and a prominent coach in the USA Gymnastics system. Under a plea deal, he faces a minimum prison sentence of 25 to 40 years in the molestation case.

Miller offered advice to the court and directly to Nassar as part of her impact statement.
The Karolyi Ranch, a suburban Houston layout once famed as a breeding ground of champions, will no longer serve as a training site for top gymnasts, USA Gymnastics announced last week, the facility holding too many horrific memories for too many U.S. athletes.
