Details announced for Dolores O'Riordan's Funeral

Fans of the late Dolores O'Riordan will pay their last respects at a public wake due to be held in Limerick this afternoon.

Police said her death was "unexplained" and an inquest heard that tests are still ongoing in an effort to establish the cause.

A photo of the frontwoman will be placed on her coffin, with dozens of fans already arriving to pay tribute to the rockstar.

"We wanted to express our sympathy to her family because it is such a loss for them and also to show our deep love for everything she did and out admiration for everything she achieved", she said.

Requiem Mass will be in St Ailbes' Church at 11.30am followed by private family burial in Caherelly Cemetery where her father Terence was laid to rest in 2011. Download it today and continue to enjoy STV News wherever you are.

Aged just 46 at the time of her passing, the death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious, with the results of the post-mortem examination yet to be revealed.
