Barcelona unveil Brazil midfielder, Coutinho at Nou Camp

The 25-year-old Brazilian only signed a new five-year deal, which did not include a release clause, with the Anfield club in January.

Philippe Coutinho is undergoing a medical in Barcelona ahead of the completion of his transfer to the La Liga leaders from Liverpool.

Coutinho became the third most expensive player in football history when he signed a five-and-a-half year contract with Barca on Monday following a €160 million deal between the clubs.

Mestre may have been referring to demands made for Coutinho in July when Barcelona tabled three solid offers for Coutinho in the wake of an aggressive transfer struggle that saw Paris Saint-Germain take Neymar from the Catalans for a world record 222 million euros.

Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Sleeping Woman On Flight To Detroit
The 22-year-old women is alleging she was awoken by the man attempting to shove his fingers into her vagina. Campos said her harasser was arrested at the gate after he kept touching her and others on the flight.

Philippe Coutinho's £142m move to Barcelona was officially confirmed on Monday as the playmaker was unveiled to fans at the Nou Camp. The club said in a statement: "Coutinho has an injury to his right thigh and he is expected to be out for around 3 weeks".

However, he will not be eligible to play for Barcelona in their Champions League last-16 tie against Juventus, having already played a key role in Liverpool's qualification for the knockout phase.

Writing on Twitter alongside a picture with Coutinho, Suarez said: "Welcome my friend, how nice [it] is to share [a] team with you again". For sure, I gave everything I could.

Coutinho becomes Barcelona's fifth signing of the season following the return of Gerard Deulofeu to his boyhood club and the arrivals of Ousmane Dembele, Paulinho and Nelson Semedo last summer.
