Earlier in the week, Fitzpatrick told ESPN's Trey Wingo and Mike Golic that it was "pretty clear" which way he was leaning in regards to the National Football League, implying that he would turn pro.
Fitzpatrick is a lock to be selected in the first round, with many people believing he will be a top ten pick.
The outlook looks good, to say the least.
Payne, an All-SEC selection who was the defensive MVP of both the national championship and semifinal games, will also bypass his senior year to enter the draft, sources confirmed to ESPN. "He could go as late as the fourth, but I'd be surprised if that happen".
