Sandra Bullock Gets The Old Gang Together In First 'Ocean's 8' Trailer

Sandra Bullock stars as Debbie Ocean, Danny Ocean's sister, who brings together a group of female thieves to pull off stealing a necklace from the Met Gala.

That dream team is lead by none other than Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett, and includes Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter and USA rapper Awkwafina.

Despite a few commenters blindly barking "Oh great, another Ghostbusters!" - this female-led ensemble could very well steal the title of the best film in the franchise. Every heist movie has a scene where the mastermind explains the plans to the henchmen, and Ocean's 8 will apparently be no exception. We're especially excited to see Gary Ross (director of the underheralded masterpiece Pleasantville) back in the director's chair for something a little more entertaining than Free State of Jones. He also co-wrote the script alongside Olivia Milch.

Warner Bros. released the official trailer for the "Ocean's" film spin off on Tuesday morning.

The company is also offering a one-time screen replacement for 6 months and a free wireless charger for first 2000 customers. The dual rear cameras and the wide-angle front camera on board the smartphone are also pretty impressive.

"If I were to be released", Debbie tells a parole board in the first seconds of the trailer, which dropped Tuesday, "I would just want the simple life".

Ocean's 8 will premiere June 8, 2018. However, we're pretty interested in this new side-quel, Ocean's Eight, because of its cast.

"Ocean's 8" appears to be tapping into that fun-loving sweet spot crafted by Steven Soderbergh in his "Ocean's" trilogy, which earned more than $1.1 billion worldwide. There are rumors that Matt Damon may reprise his role from the original movies, but no word on if Clooney makes an appearance.
