Alabama joins Clemson, Georgia, Oklahoma for college football playoffs

Teams like Penn State, TCU, USC, Wisconsin, Auburn and Miami were all around the top 10 in November and had a case to be a top-four team at some point.
Alabama will play No. 1 Clemson (12-1), the defending national champion, in the Sugar Bowl; the other semifinal will match No.2 Oklahoma (12-1) against No. 3 Georgia (12-1) in the Rose Bowl.
