"Unfortunately we've got to take steps with our students, to make sure this never happens again". FSU President Thrasher says the ban on Greek life will stay in place until there is a new culture in place for the organizations.
"For this suspension to end, there will need to be a new normal for Greek Life at the university".
The fraternity has been suspended by its national organization pending the conclusion of the investigation. "We do not yet have details surrounding the passing today of student Andrew Coffey, but we will work closely with the Tallahassee Police Department as it investigates to determine the facts surrounding this case".
Double auto bombing strikes Mogadishu

Andrew Coffey was found dead Friday morning after an off-campus fraternity party Thursday night in Tallahassee.
Detectives have yet to announce an official cause of death, though alcohol has been implicated as authorities were spotted collecting bottles and cans of beer that littered the front yard of the home where he died, as reported by Tallahassee Democrat. He was from Pompano Beach. He was given medical treatment at the scene, but died. Pi Kappa Phi has faced disciplinary action numerous times over the last five years, the Sun-Sentinel reports, including for alcohol violations.
