Kenya: Six Killed as South Sudanese Gunmen Attack School

Police in Kakuma have arrested the main suspect in the killing of students at Lokichogio High school, Turkana County early today.
The residents stormed thepolice station where he had been detained, and grabbed him from the police.
The student is reported to be a former military man in South Sudan is said to have previously fought with one of his colleagues over Sh200 before they were both suspended for indiscipline.
Kibunja says a key suspect is a senior at the school who was suspended last week after he was found fighting and had vowed to take revenge.
In Kenya, seven people including six students were shot dead by unknown gunmen in a raid on a high school in Nairobi on Saturday.

Turkana, an arid region bordering South Sudan, is awash with small arms and violent clashes between competing communities over resources and territory are common.
The student is said to have gone to the school with about three other people in the wee hours Saturday and shot dead the security guard.
The suspectwas arrested in Kakuma while fleeing towards the Kakuma refugee camp.
