Panetta: Trump's 'calm before the storm' comment a 'play for attention'

Just as the White House press corps was preparing to head home Thursday night, President Trump summoned reporters to the State Dining Room, where they found him posing for a group photo with his highest-ranking military advisers and their wives.
"Could be the calm before the storm", the president said.
"As we've said many times before, I know the president has, as I have from this podium on quite a few occasions, we're never going to say in advance what the president's going to do".
The cash-strapped island's 2035 8% bonds traded down to 32 cents on the dollar last Wednesday, down 12.5 points from the previous day after Trump said the debt had to be wiped out. "Have you guys seen any change in Pakistani behaviour in those six weeks?" she was asked.
A second reporter asked Trump if the "storm" was in reference to action regarding Iran or the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
