Michelle Williams May Play She-Venom

The Oscar-nominated actor is in talks to join Sony's Venom starring Tom Hardy in the titular role of the iconic Spider-Man villain. She will apparently play a New York City District Attorney and a possible love interest for Hardy's Eddie Brock. Sony declined to comment.

Sony did not comment on the casting, but according to the report, Sony Pictures has been considering several actresses for the lead role and chose to offer it to Williams after seeing the trailer for her upcoming film All the Money in the World with Ridley Scott. And Williams can conversely bring in some aritistic and creative credibility that will help raise the movie's profile, despite not being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Scott Rosenberg ("Jumanji") and Jeff Pinkner ("The Dark Tower") will write the script for "Venom", with Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach producing the movie, along with Amy Pascal.

In addition, Sony is also now developing an animated Spider-Man movie featuring Miles Morales, again not associated with Marvel Studios.

Why? Dante Daniels beaten to death by Deandre Chaney Jr with hammer
Salone told detectives that she was "struck at least three times" with a hammer from behind as she went to check on her child. Along with murder and attempted murder charges, Chaney Jr. also faces a charge for lewd acts with a child under 14.

The symbiote, created by David Michelinie and artists Todd McFarlane and Mick Zeck, was first introduced in the comic books back in 1988 and is still a fan favourite villain and has appeared in other Marvel Comics including Iron Man, Deadpool and the Hulk.

Here's the thing: Fleischer is not an exciting director in the least bit (I mean, have you seen fucking Gangster Squad), but still has a knack for attracting big names to his genre projects.

The movie is set to hit theatres on 5 October, 2018.

Venom made his big-screen debut in 2007's Spider-Man 3, with Topher Grace portraying Eddie Brock in the notoriously maligned Spider-Man franchise sequel.
