Cloud National Guard Soldiers, Helicopters to Help Hurricane Harvey Victims

Houston Executive Airport is one of three hubs the Texas Army National Guard is operating from.

The soldiers will conduct aviation operations in Texas on two St. Cloud-based CH-47 Chinook helicopters.

"There are several areas they are concerned about with rising water and one of them's only about ten miles from where we're at right now", said Schroeder from Sugar Land, TX.

Numerous troops that left on Monday will assist with supply deliveries, recovery operations and maintain about 90 helicopters being used by the National Guard in the relief effort. This deployment comes as a response to a request for help from teams in Texas. "We're proud of those families too".

The Arkansas soldiers and airmen will arrive at an area where procedures have become nontraditional at times in the days since the storm hit.

This report confirms for the umpteenth time that the iPhone 8's display is flat and not curved like in Samsung's recent flagships. It will also come with a faster processor and a clearer, brighter screen, according to the report.

Schroeder says so far, they've rescued more than 200 survivors and dozens of dogs, whom many survivors refuse to leave behind.

Some Nebraska National Guard members have worked with Texas National Guard since July 1993 in a combined partnership with the Czech Republic and consider the Texas crews "great teammates", Bohac said.

Nebraska Task Force 1, a Lincoln-based, 80-member crew now working out of Katy, Texas, remains in the area.

"For the people that need that, that's how they're staying alive, no food, no water", said Brian Hurst, Liberty's Fire Chief.
