Taking the stage, Lalu Yadav bombarded the BJP with claims and accusations and dared Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah to do whatever they could against him and his family warning that he and his party will continue fighting "communal forces" in the 2019 General Elections.
In a bid to display strength to the BJP-JD (U) combined, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Sunday perhaps went overboard and tweeted an allegedly "morphed" aerial picture of his "BJP bhagao, deshbachao" rally showing a jam-packed Gandhi Maidan of Patna. "In a democracy, keeping promises is important".

Adding that by attending the rally, Yadav had created problem for his membership, Tyagi added that he is likely to lose his Rajya Sabha membership as well.
Besides, Congress' C.P. Joshi, NCP's Tariq Anwar, RLD's Choudhary Jayant Singh, CPI's Sudhakar Reddy and former Jharkhand Chief Ministers Hemant Soren of the JMM and Babulal Marandi of the JVM, AIUDF chief Badruddin Azmal, and leaders from DMK, JD-S and RSP will also attend the rally, the RJD leader said. Sharad Yadav echoed the same thoughts as Lalu and said without naming Nitish Kumar that his shadow betrayed him. Seated in the front row were Lalu Yadav wife, sons Tejaswi and Tej Pratap Yadav, and daughter Misa Bharti, a Rajya Sabha MP.
