Palestinian Arab officials continued to express frustration on Friday over the fact the US still has not committed to a two-state solution، even after a meeting described as productive between President Donald Trump's senior adviser، Jared Kushner، and the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah on Thursday، as Arutz Sheva said.

"We want to work toward a peace that both sides can agree to and that both sides find sustainable". That has rankled Palestinian officials, who say negotiations without any set parameters will only benefit the Israeli side. "We know that things are hard and complicated, but nothing is impossible with honest efforts".

The Palestinian leader's remarks expressing confidence in U.S. efforts came despite the Trump administration's continued refusal to endorse the two-state solution, in order to not, as State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said Wednesday, "bias one side over the other".
