Rocket League Gets Exclusive Mario and Metroid Cars for Switch

Nintendo Switch Battle-Cars will be available exclusively for Switch owners without additional cost and you can unlock them for bonus style points.

The upcoming Nintendo Switch version of Rocket League's Nintendo-themed exclusive cars have been revealed.

The market breadth was narrow as 1,399 shares advanced against a decline of 1,161 shares, while 138 shares were unchanged. It was followed by Jaiprakash Associates (1.48 million), Sintex Industries (1.07 million) and Spicejet (0.88 million).

The new NSR auto is styled after the Mario Bros. and features a different color and logo depending on which team you are on. Metroid's Samus Gunship Battle-Car, which comes in two variations based on Samus' Varia Suits, will also get a unique boost called Wave Beam. Like the Mario auto, Samus' Gunship features a special boost (Wave Beam) and will have two different variations to match the team you're playing on. The second exclusive Battle-Car is Samus' Gunship based on the protagonist of the beloved Metroid franchise.

Hold on to your butts, Rocket League's Nintendo Switch port is getting vehicles from classic games.

No definitive release date has been locked down for the game yet but all signs are pointing to a release some time this year. Each of the aforementioned cars will be coming this holiday 2017. Psyonix has also said that Mario and Luigi-themed vehicle toppers will also be available as cosmetics in the Switch version, so it will be interesting to see what other Big N franchises are eventually given their due in Rocket League too.
