Police say man confessed to killing younger sister, 2 cousins

A relative returned home from work at 7:30 a.m., finding the girls with stab wounds.

Antonio Williams, 24, was arrested in connection with the murder of the three girls.

Sovereign George's County police in rural Washington said Antonio Williams, 25, of Clinton, admitted to the homicides, Fox 5 DC announced Saturday.

Police are trying to determine what exactly happened inside of the home and say there is no threat to the community.

AP added that investigators on the case have not yet disclosed how, or even if, the three girls were related.

Williams had sole care and custody of the children at the home overnight into Friday, officials said.

Ariana and Ajayah from Newark were the daughters of the suspect's mother's cousin and were on holiday in Maryland, according to RLS Metro Breaking News.

Williams has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of second-degree murder, Mail Online reports. Donelan said they suffered "trauma to the body".

He's now in prison at the Department of Corrections, being held without bond.

'This is one of the the most hard scenes that our officers arrived on, ' Donelan said, adding that the neighborhood where the children were found was quiet.

Counsellors have also been brought to the site to help first responding officers cope with the disturbing discovery.

State's Attorney Angela Alsobrooks, said: "We are absolutely heartbroken and we are so absolutely devastated".

"We are so very, very devastated for these young, handsome children and their families", Alsobrooks said.
