YouTube finally brings Direct Video Sharing feature to all users globally

"Thanks to all your feedback, we made some improvements and are now ready to roll out this new sharing feature to all users globally".

YouTube has launched a new tab labeled as Shared with Direct Messaging features Exclusively for App users.

You can share videos with people in your contacts or via a link; the feature supports groups of up to 30 people. The move is meant to make it easier to share videos, instead of users having to go through the cumbersome process of tapping on the sharing button, copying the link, and pasting it in another instant messaging application.

'We think it'll make sharing easier, faster and more fun on your phone'. You will also understand whether your video is inappropriate for all advertisers.

YouTube Messenger has been in testing since a year ago, and many modifications have carried out with user feed backs. The users can also add friends to the existing conversation.

Till now YouTube was only an entertainment spreading app now it has become a messenger with the sharing option. In fact, you can invite other people to watch and share the video as well.

The process, named as CRISPR, was completed without introducing any harmful mutations, which was a problem in previous attempts. But while the procedure is considered to be the first of its kind, human trials are not now allowed in the United States.

The new YouTube update also lets you chat within the app itself. However, it is currently only usable on Android and iOS devices; as of now, no information has been provided regarding a release for the desktop version of YouTube. The update also allows users to create an infinite playlist of songs with unlimited skips and check out all the videos and personalized recommendations.

The videos in question, which reportedly feature gang members wielding large knives and describing killing methods in a bid to intimidate rivals, have not been removed, as YouTube maintains that the videos do not breach their terms.

Along with the YouTube video sharing and chatting, the YouTube users can reply to the videos they receive the other videos.

According to a recent report by market research company eMarketer, more than one-quarter of the world's population will start using mobile messaging apps by 2019.

'This is the dumbest thing I've seen in a while, ' commented one user.

It's not just policy specialists carrying out this work either; machine learning has increasingly been used to identify and remove extremist videos on YouTube before human viewers flag up content.
