OH couple arrested after human body found inside padlocked freezer

Authorities were alerted to the find Saturday after Novoa allegedly asked a friend to keep a padlocked freezer after losing electricity at his home, according to the Vindicator.

Novoa and Layton are both in the Mahoning County jail on $1 million bond following their arraignments Monday in municipal court.

Youngstown Police are still investigating, but they believe the woman died in Youngstown, not Campbell. Another suspect, Katrina Layton, 34, was charged with abuse of a corpse and obstruction of justice.

Youngstown Prosecutor Dana Lantz said Graves' former boyfriend, Novoa, was living in her apartment with Layton who allegedly began driving Graves' auto, caring for her dog and using her cell phone. He became suspicious about the contents of the freezer and discovered the remains inside before calling police.

Youngstown prosecutor Dana Lantz said Ms Graves's former boyfriend was living in her apartment with another woman who assumed her life. They're awaiting official identification and information on the cause of death.

Starbucks to take control of over 1300 Chinese stores
With fewer shoppers hitting mall anchor stores like Macy's and JC Penney, fewer shoppers stop by Teavana for a tea break. Teavana, a Starbucks-owned tea store, will shutter its doors by the end of the year as part of a national closure.

Layton told police she bought the freezer from a Walmart store in early July, and supplied the extension cord to plug it in at Novoa's building. She was listed as missing on the OH attorney general's website. Debbie said investigators are pulling Graves' dental records to compare them to the body, which hasn't been identified yet.

Police in OH said two people have been arrested after a body was discovered inside a freezer.

The body has been taken to the Cuyahoga County Coroner's Office for forensic examination, WKBN reports.

Bobovnik said no one has been charged with murder yet because there is still no cause of death.
