But the Galaxy Note 8 is just as critical, because this is the direct successor to that ill-fated device.
At present, there's no official word on what the device will be but rumours indicate a Galaxy Note 8 will be launched. There is not much information on the megapixels front, but it is expected to come with great performance and advanced features.
The Galaxy Note 8 will also carry 12-megapixel dual cameras and a standard 6 GB of random-access memory (RAM). For instance, the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 will feature an nearly similar display as the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphone. This means the Galaxy Note 8 could come with the Snapdragon 835 mobile platform. It also showed a blue stylus, a key feature of Samsung's Note line.

The bank also retained its asset purchases of Euro 60 billion a month till December 2017, or beyond, if necessary. Inflation stood at 1.3 percent in June, higher than expected but still below the bank's target of 2 percent.
One of the most interesting features of the new device is the Always-On display, which was visible in the photos. The "2Piece" covers will also be returning for the Note 8, available in Orchid Grey, Deep Blue, Black, Silver, and Gold, although the RRP for each has increased, adding to the speculation that the Note 8 is likely to be more expensive than the S8 range. But it's expected the Note brand will live on and we're going to see its next offering very soon.
The Korean tech giant will be hoping that the Galaxy Note 8 is far more successful than its predecessor - the Note 7 that has been rebranded and is on sale in South Korea. While things are unclear at this time, for sure, S9 and its larger iteration will still have some advancement from the Note 8. The smartphone will launch with company's Exynos 8895 processor in select markets. It was the company's first new smartphone following the disastrous Galaxy Note 7 with its exploding battery. Naturally, the upcoming flagship will feature a rear- mounted fingerprint sensor, an iris scanner and face recognition.
