Edgar Wright shares real reason behind 'heartbreaking' Ant-Man exit

In the end, "Baby Driver" gives a great ride. The only way of doing it is you've got to prep the s-t out of it.

Foxx plays the impulsive gun-slinging Bats in Edgar Wright's new crime thriller "Baby Driver" - which features action scenes choreographed to the soundtrack - alongside Hollywood legend Kevin Spacey, Jon Hamm, Lily James and Ansel Elgort.

British filmmaker Edgar Wright has always imbued his films with specific, idiosyncratic, and florid sensibilities, but his latest effort - the action comedy Baby Driver - is his most assured and intricately constructed work to date.

Everyone in Elgort's accomplished family has a high-profile arts career - his father, for example, is famed fashion photographer Arthur Elgort - so celebrity is familiar, apparently neither carrot nor stick. I've never seen anything like it, and the constantly reinventing Wright probably won't make another film like this. Over the course of our lunch in Brooklyn's Bed-Stuy neighborhood, where he now lives, the actor is nothing if not expressive-gesticulating, putting on voices, and telling stories about his sister's Argentinian Spanish teacher and expensive steak dinners with friends that ultimately have nothing to do with his craft or "Baby Driver", but that amplify how easy he is in no-fuss charm and conversation. "Baby Driver" borrows liberally from a handful of its predecessors, beginning with 2011's "Drive", in which a pretty getaway driver played by Ryan Gosling is under the thumb of an ugly cruel boss played by Albert Brooks. "I'm playing this super-impulsive guy in a super-real world". The exact next thing I don't have entirely worked out, but that is one of the things in the mix, yeah.

He added: "I'm sure plenty of people think I am one, too". So they didn't have to worry about Lily being there.

"I wouldn't say "no" to James Bond", the British writer/director says during a recent Toronto interview. The things I learned from Kevin Spacey and Jamie Foxx...

Panama's President Slyly Shoots Down Trump's Brag About US Building Panama Canal
French President Emanuel Macron recently bested Trump , only to have the Yanker-in-Chief strike again during a rematch. Donald Trump and Juan Carlos Varela met on Monday at the White House. "One hundred years ago", Varela responded.

"Yeah, well, at first we just talked about music in general".

The Fault In Our Stars actor didn't hide his displeasure, bluntly admitting, 'I'm not happy with his presidency, but hopefully this is a big eye-opener and we'll be able to not allow this to happen again'. They were trying to give me some choreography to try to do what Baby does in the movie - to walk around, to walk cool to The Harlem Shuffle.

Speaking at the premiere, Edgar shared: "It's fantastic, I remember the first day I shot with Kevin Spacey I sort of had an out of body experience".

Fittingly, Baby marks Elgort's most "movie star" role to date. Dick Pope's cinematography and the stunt driving magicians let you feel a part of the entertaining spins, flips, and reverses in an adrenaline rush usually reserved just for the drivers.

"I had tinnitus as a kid of 7 or 8, and it was very painful". I had just moved to London and I was on the dole. I love your cinema scene, some of my favourite directors - like David Cronenberg and Don McKellar - are from Toronto.
