"The Packers are aware of the matter involving Letroy Guion", a Packers spokesman told Ryman. He was released on $500 bail.
Letroy Guion was pulled over at the corner of Kalakaua Avenue and Lewers Street about 4 a.m. on a routine traffic stop. A mere seven months later, the Packers handed Guion a three-year, $11.25 million dollar contract.
Guion has been suspended twice by the National Football League over the last few years.
Guion was suspended a second time this past offseason for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances. He has 8.5 career sacks, but hasn't recorded a sack since the 2014 season. He started 15 games for Green Bay last season, recording 30 total tackles. Guion also had a 2015 arrest for possession of a firearm and marijuana.
