Ainge's patience pays off with Celtics' draft lottery win

Yet, obvious by Magic Johnson's smile, the hated rivals were both celebrating.

The Celtics will be the first No. 1 seed to pick No. 1 overall in the draft the same year.

"Game last night, Game 7, a tough Washington team". I don't know what's happening here.

Now, we look at three new scenarios that can take place after the NBA Lottery, all revolving around the Los Angeles Lakers and their second overall selection.

With the Lakers moving up to No. 2 and the Celtics getting the top pick, there isn't much maneuvering to be done - just a choice of whether the Celtics might trade the pick to improve with a veteran or keep the pick and deal with the fallout later. "We are not going to jump ahead of ourselves".
