It's easy to forget this today, but New Girl was pioneering when released in 2011.
The longest-running live-action comedy now on Fox, New Girl, will be hanging up its hat after one more season, Variety recently confirmed. The possible count confirmation comes from New Girl star Jake Johnson, who plays the lovably naive and somewhat lost Nick Miller. On Twitter, costar Jake Johnson wrote that the final New Girl run would be eight episodes. "Together with Jess' best friend, Cece, they bond to form an unlikely, and dysfunctional, family". As a result of that, it is very much nice to see that the show is going to be getting one final kick at the can to celebrate this cast of characters.
The season 6 finale was written in a way that it could close out some storylines, just in case it ended up being the series finale. "But we shot a finale where, if this was the end, the core fan base would be OK".

A Russian plan to stabilize Syria after more than six years of civil war is the most urgent foreign policy topic on the agenda. Still, he said the dialogues were free of the ideology that hampered US-Russia ties under Barack Obama, Trump's predecessor.
"Let's be clear. I have no idea if NG is coming back".
While New Girl's ratings have been slumping ever since its first season, and it's been on the bubble for a number of years, the show's proven to be reliable enough for the network. Insiders say the renewal was up in the air, but the network and studio want more episodes.
But next season is definitively billed as the final round for the trend-setting series. Let us know your favorite New Girl episode or moment in the comments section below.
