Orthodox, Catholic Belarusians celebrate Easter

"We didn't come here because we were supposed to come on Easter Sunday, we came for an encounter with the most high God", Reverend Brian Edmunds said.
Over three million Christians in the country celebrated Easter Sunday, today, as many adherents thronged churches to attend masses to celebrate the occasion.
But Jesus Christ, who was crucified and resurrected in the name of mankind, atoned for the original sin and opened the way into heaven for good and godly people.
"It was good, considering lots of working people head away for the long weekend, and Easter is in the [school] term holidays this year as well".
