IPL 2017: Shane Watson-led RCB beat Delhi Daredevils in a thriller

The second match of the day in the ongoing IPL 2017 is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils.

Royal Challengers Bangalore registered their first win in the 10th season of Indian Premier League on Saturday by defeating Delhi Daredevils.

"No. Definitely not. I didn't expect that money but the T20 series against India could not have come at a better time for myself and other England boys who are playing".

It took a moment of brilliance to end Jadav's onslaught - Delhi skipper Zaheer doubling his tally with a superb slower ball that the batsman could only sky to Morris as he looked to blast another boundary down the ground.

The performance of Pant was all the more impressive given that he had cremated his father a few days earlier.

The prodigious Pant further revealed his biggest support system and said, "My father always thought that I will become a cricketer and that's why he has given me opportunity". Coupled with the likes of Tymal Mills and Watson, they seem to make Bangalore bowling really robust.

Chris Gayle and Mandeep Singh will open the innings with Travis Head at number three, Kedar Jadhav at four and Shane Watson at five.

Delhi fumbled in the chase, being restricted to 142/9 as they lost by 15 runs.

Shane Watson won the toss and Decided to BAT first.

Just when Jadhav was threatening to take the game away, Zaheer Khan (2-31) dismissed him in the 17th over while Vishnu Vinod (9) was run out in the same over and Morris accounted for two more wickets in the final over to restrict Bangalore to 157 for eight in the 20 overs.
