In case you've already installed the new cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1703, let us know about your experience using it in the comments.
Windows' new set of curtains is set to begin a measured rollout on April 11 to the more than 400 million devices running Windows 10 in homes, businesses, and schools around the world.
With Beam, we're inviting Creators on Windows 10 PC and Xbox One to stream gameplay and interact with the community in near real-time using Beam's ultra low-latency - no extra hardware or software required. It can be opened with a single press of the Xbox controller and appears as a condensed overlay on the left of the screen.
It looks like Home is going to get an update, and the new look for Home on Xbox One is something that most people might want to check out. Microsoft has made that work much easier than it ever did with the Twitch app, and this could introduce a massive audience to the livestreaming service that Microsoft acquired in August.
Microsoft purchased Beam to integrate its own streaming service into the Xbox One and Windows 10 and it is now ready for everyone. Although the Windows Creators Update won't be generally available until April 11, Microsoft is giving Windows Insiders early access to kick the tires.
Rose out for rest of season after knee injury
He first tore his meniscus ten games removed from returning to the Bulls after tearing his ACL in the 2012 NBA Playoffs. He then tore the meniscus in his right knee in his first season back from surgery, costing him the final 72 games.
The long awaited update for the Xbox One dashboard drops today. If you do not have a custom background set, you'll see that the updated Home also spotlights the game you're now playing by featuring hero art as your Xbox background.
The most noticeable change with this Xbox One update is, of course, the changes to the user interface (UI).
It'll be headlined by apps like Paint 3D, an app that allows you to create and move objects in 3D space.
For the those of you who are eager to get the Creators Update right away, you will be able to initiate the update manually, starting on April 5th, via Update Assistant.
The Microsoft Edge browser will handle tabs more efficiently, while Night Light will reduce the amount of blue light you're confronted with during the evenings, hopefully leading to a better night's sleep. Parents will also be happy to hear the Xbox One now supports screen time limits just like Windows 10 offers. If you're enrolled in the Insider program, the necessary ISO files are available via Microsoft's Software Download website. The centrality of Beam to this new Xbox experience seems like it could be more of a distraction for a large number of users, but otherwise these changes feel like a clear win.
