Juventus vs Porto, Champions League

FC Porto face a monumental challenge to overturn a 2-0 deficit away to 2015 finalists Juventus in the Round of 16 second leg of the Uefa Champions League.

After earning a 2-0 win in the first leg on the road, Juve won the second leg against the 10-man Portuguese side 1-0 to go through 3-0 on aggregate.

The Italian champions entered the second leg holding a 2-0 lead from the reverse match in Porto, and Paulo Dybala's first-half penalty made it a comfortable progression into the last eight for Massimiliano Allegri's side.

"There will always be a doubt as to whether it would have been different with eleven players", said Porto coach Nuno Espirito Santo.

Romanian referee Ovidiu Hategan had little option but to pull out a red card, with Dybala making no mistake from the penalty, scoring low into the bottom right corner to all but kill off the tie. "The result isn't everything".

Turkish referendum and Erdogan
Erdogan accused the Netherlands of working against the "Yes" campaign and said: "Pressure however much you like". Turkish attempts to hold rallies in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands have been blocked.

The game also will pit two goalkeeping legends against one another in Juventus' Gigi Buffon and Porto's Iker Casillas. Juventus is unbeaten in its last 12 matches across all competitions.

Gonzalo Higuain lashed the rebound back towards goal at the far post, where defender Pereira flung himself at the ball, making a block with his arm.

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has named Leicester City as the only team he wants to avoid in the Champions League quarter-finals after the Premier League champions knocked out Sevilla.

The rest of the game was like a training session for Juve although Diogo Jota had another chance for the visitors when he broke away late on but shot into the side-netting.
