Nothing is official until Samsung makes it so, and with almost a year's worth of rumors surrounding the Galaxy Tab S3, we've heard a lot of conflicting things. This, in turn, means the display can be more power efficient, because the battery isn't having to keep a backlight lit.
Samsung chose to discontinue the Note 7 in October a year ago after recalling millions of the devices worldwide over safety concerns.
Samsung's predilection with launching accessories alongside its flagships will persist with the release of Galaxy S8, its most recent and forthcoming flagship.
There was speculation that Samsung would abandon the Note brand and instead offer a "Note" version of the Galaxy S8 with a larger screen (the Note 7's display was 5.7 inches) and a digital pen. "Design and Manufacturing Defects" also posted on Weibo by Global Times, a netizen said "I believe (Samsung) initially said that the Chinese customer (who reported the phone catching fire) was responsible", and another, "the smartphone itself is also defective, not only the battery".
French voters go to polls to choose Socialist presidential candidate
Fillon is now weakened by a media storm around a paid job for his wife as his assistance and the Socialists elected Hamon. Valls said Friday that Fillon's woes showed that the election "was not over".
It's also claimed that the Galaxy S8 will only be offered with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage to customers in North America, South America and Europe.
This change will allow Samsung to reduce the bezels at the bottom of the device, bringing its high-resolution display to the very base of the chassis - like it now does with the sides of its curved S7 Edge screen. The handset will probably support DCI-P3, just like its predecessor. A new report tells us that the three flagships will most likely share the key component of a 2017 smartphone: an OLED display.
"For the OLED iPhone 8, Apple will need to merge the best of iPhone and OLED technologies", explains Soneira. Soneira also says the iPhone 8 will "definitely" retain the automatic colour management feature that we saw on the iPhone 7. So far, the Galaxy S8 is expected to arrive with two size variants: a 5.8-inch standard option and a phablet-like 6.2-inch device with a Quad High Definition Super Active Matrix organic light-emitting diode panel. Soneira expects the Galaxy S8 to have an aspect ratio of 2.0, and screen resolution of 2880 x 1440, 3840 x 1920 or 4320 x 2160.
