Reynoldsburg woman charged after reportedly taping toddler son to wall


An 18-year-old mother was arrested after she bragged about taping her toddler to the wall in a shocking Facebook live video.

Rudolph was charged with third-degree felony abduction.

The child was taken into the custody of Franklin County Children's Services and was expected to be placed with family members, Wright said.

Rudolph then explains to her audience that she taped her child to the wall in order to clean the house.

She later tells her son: 'Don't make me put more tape up there. She orders him to sit still and tells him that he can watch TV from there so he'll be fine. It is believed the child was left taped to the wall for at least 15 minutes.

"You can't clean with them running around tearing up?" The child's mouth was covered with clear packing tape and his little body was taped to a wall in Rudolph's home.

In another Facebook live video, Rudolph can be seen disciplining her son by making him stand in a corner.

WSYX learned about the Facebook post from a concerned viewer who saw the video. (Expletive) call children's services now, (expletive) I don't give a (expletive).

"Go ahead and call Children's Services now, they can go ahead and take 'em."

Rudolph also claimed she could punish her son however she liked, and hang him upside down, FOX reported.

According to CBS News, police were tipped off about the video on Wednesday and launched an investigation.
