Sony's First OLED TV Is Freaking Gorgeous

The formats supported by Active HDR include HDR10, Dolby Vision, Hybrid Log Gamma (Europe), and Technicolor Technology's Advanced HDR.
While a number of major names have returned to OLED TVs at this year's CES, LG never lost the faith and maintained its commitment to the technology.
The XBR-X930E/X940E series will come packing the enhanced 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme from Sony, which can upscale nearly any content to near-4K quality.
They all incorporate Sony's proprietary technologies including the newly-developed 4K HDR processor X1 to deliver industry-leading picture quality.
Sony claims that moving to OLED will allow it to offer a TV with "unprecedented black levels, rich and lifelike color, dynamic contrast, blur-less image, and a wide viewing angle".
Of course, the hyper-competitive consumer electronics market yielded same-day competition for LG: Panasonic debuted its own OLED TV at CES on Wednesday.

Naturally Sony isn't only selling OLED TVs in 2017; it's also announced at CES new X930E and X940E LCD ranges.

Instead, it "uses the first of its kind audio technology to emit great sound from the screen itself", Sony explained.
The new A1E series will ship later this year at an as-yet-undisclosed price, although a previous report says the 55-inch and 65-inch will ship during the second half of 2017, with prices of $2,000 and $3,000, respectively.
The 65-inch EZ100 OLED Ultra HD TV will be available in Europe in June.
Pricing and launch date for the new TVs are yet to be revealed.
Every 2017 TV from TCL features the latest version of the Roku operating system (7.5), featuring more than 4,500 streaming channels, covering more than 450,000 movies and TV episodes. It was accompanied by two LED TVs, 4K Blu-Ray player, Bluetooth speakers and an AV receiver.
