Finally, Ford will introduce a plug-in hybrid version of the Transit van across Europe in 2019, and two hybrid police cars for the United States market.
The electric SUV with at least 300 miles will launch in 2020 in North America, Europe and Asia.
According to the Ford boss the hybrid version of the coupe will match the V8's power (306kW) but produce even more torque than the naturally aspirated 5.0-litre's 530Nm.
The EV sport-ute, which will be built at Ford's Flat Rock, Mich., plant, is one of seven electric-powered vehicles it plans to sell by the end of the decade.
The F-150 hybrid will not only provide an electrified alternative to the existing EcoBoost and V8 models, but be able to function as a generator capable of powering a job site.

According to officials, the White House is working on adapting the authority to punish the Russians. At a minimum the Russians expected the operation to sow confusion into the U.S. elections.
After announcing plans to cancel a $1.7bn (£1.4bn) manufacturing plan in Mexico, Ford will instead open a $700m (£570m) expansion to its MI plant, which is expected to generate around 700 jobs. "While some others seem to be focused on marketing claims and numbers, we're focused on providing customers even more of what they love about their Ford vehicles", said Raj Nair, executive vice president of product development. Still, if Ford actually delivers a 300-mile range vehicle, it'll mark a substantial improvement over the Focus' 115-mile driving distance, Roadshow reported. Sales of the electrified Mustang will initially begin only for the North American market.
In New York and several major USA cities, Ford is testing a fleet of 20 Transit Connect hybrid taxi prototypes.
A plug-in hybrid version of the Transit Custom will arrive in the United Kingdom in 2019, and the firm has promised that its hybrid utility vehicles will combine EcoBoost turbocharged engines with electric motors. It will be followed by a high-volume, fully-autonomous hybrid model designed for commercial ride-hailing or ride-sharing.
"That plant will add 700 jobs", Krebs said.
Given Ford's so far anemic presence in battery-electric vehicles, some commentators suggested that enhanced start-stop systems might make up a substantial portion of those "electrified" Ford vehicles.
